Composed of more than 90% natural quartz, Silestone has unique antibacterial properties. Its non-porous surface is highly resistant to stains and acids and thus remains hygienic at all times. Moreover, quartz is a very hard material, which makes Silestone scratch and shock resistant. You can choose from numerous colours and finishes.
Silestone is available in three different thicknesses: 12, 20 and 30mm.

Silestone is a quartz composite material which consists of 93 % natural quartz. After diamonds, this is one of the hardest raw materials Mother Nature has produced. A mix of resin and colouring agents is added to the quartz. If necessary, pieces of glass or mirror glass are added to this mix to create an even more beautiful effect.
Then, using a patented process, plates are pressed that retain the hardness and crystalline appearance of quartz and have properties that surpass all other materials. Silestone is mainly processed into kitchen worktops. Other possibilities include bathroom covers, floors, stairs, window sills, desk tops, tables and other interior work.
Silestone is a leading quartz composite that has become the undisputed global market leader.
The earth's crust consists of a significant proportion of quartz. That mineral can be found in almost every rock around the world. Pure quartz, also known as rock crystal, is transparent in colour. By adding a colour pigment, the quartz rock can take on all kinds of colours.
In addition to the polished (shiny) finish, Silestone is available in Suede (formerly leather touch) and Volcano. The colour overview tells you which colours are available in which surface finishes. The Silestone Suede finish is a surface with a distinctive texture that is soft to the touch. That gives a luxurious look and feel and a beautiful result.
Key features include: a luxurious matt finish, high stain resistance, remarkably soft feel to the touch and colourfast colour palette. Furthermore, no additional impregnating agent/stain stopper is needed, as Silestone Suede has a beautiful colour of its own. This finish is perfect for use in worktops.
The Suede finish is available in various colours.
Silestone's surface is non-porous. Thanks to its advanced production method, the worktop withstands everyday spills without requiring additional maintenance.
Silestone consists of 93% natural quartz. As a result, it offers scratch resistance unmatched by any other material. Normal use of knives and scissors will not affect your worktop at all.
Composite is not completely heat-resistant – a combination of temperature and volume can cause damage! Make sure to always use trivets when handling hot pots and pans.
Silestone is durable – there is no need to impregnate or wax the worktop. Regular cleaning with warm water and a neutral detergent is sufficient to maintain the worktop’s beautiful look year after year.
A Silestone worktop features integrated protection against bacteria and fungi. That protection is active both on the surface and in all hard-to-reach corners. This makes the worktop easy to maintain and keeps the area where you prepare food cleaner and more hygienic.
Silestone reflects the depth of quartz, giving it a luxurious and stunning appearance – something that only some natural stones exude.
Thanks to Silestone's production method, a colour fastness can be guaranteed, which is not possible with natural stone. With Silestone, you will receive the colour ordered with a remarkable degree of accuracy, each and every time. Silestone is available in 50 unique colours and designs. That colour range gets broadened every year with new colours.

Silestone Leather Touch:
On worktops with a Leather Touch finish (matt surface), grease marks and fingerprints are more visible. However, due to the closed surface, those stains do not penetrate the worktop, which makes them easy to remove. A Silestone Leather Touch worktop can be maintained in the same way as worktops with a polished (shiny) surface.
There are several ways in which the front of your worktop can be finished. Edge finishes not shown are often available on request.
For corner-shaped tops, we have the following options:
Back panels are basically intended for use with a hob. Thus, the entire back wall at the hob from worktop to extractor is clad in the same material as the worktop. Of course, you can also use these panels to clad the entire kitchen. The boards are 60 cm high as standard but available in any size.
Edging is strips up to 10cm high that are used as a finish on top of the worktop instead of tiles. Edging is made of 12mm thick composite and can be ordered in any height. It is made of the same material as the worktop.
