All our ceramic worktops are constructed from ceramic plates (3 or 6 mm thick). Under those slabs, we integrate a powerboard onto which we glue the ceramic. We then fill the worktop with rigid foam.
A major advantage of ceramic worktops is their closed structure. This prevents stains from penetrating the surface. To manufacture our worktops, we work with the following suppliers:
You can see the specifications of our ceramic tops in the table below:

We build ceramic worktops from a ceramic plate (3 or 6mm thick). Beneath this plate is a power board onto which the ceramic is glued. Depending on the final thickness of the worktop, it is then filled with a stiff foam. On the underside, there is a plate so that the top completely covers the cupboards. Aluminium box sections are used on the front and back to give the worktop more rigidity. All visible sides are mitred and finished with ceramic.
Ceramic is fired at over 1,000 degrees and is therefore 100% heat-resistant as a material. However, because adhesives are always used in the top, there is a caveat to note, but a hot baking dish or pan should not be a problem.
The surface of ceramic is completely closed so nothing can soak in. Even acids have no effect on the material.
Scratches are almost impossible to make on the material – this could only be done with other ceramic material.
No impregnation or oiling is necessary. Regular cleaning with warm water and a neutral detergent is sufficient to maintain the worktop’s beautiful look year after year.
The ceramic tops are completely colourfast and also do not discolour under UV light.
Due to its closed surface, a ceramic worktop requires no maintenance other than daily polishing, no impregnation or oiling.
There are several ways in which the front of your worktop can be finished. Edge finishes not shown are often available on request.
For corner-shaped tops, we have the following options:
Back panels are basically intended for use with a hob. Thus, the entire back wall at the hob from worktop to extractor is clad in the same material as the worktop. Of course, you can also use these panels to clad the entire kitchen. The plates are 60 cm high as standard but available in any size.
Edging is strips up to 10cm high that are used as a finish on top of the worktop instead of tiles. Edging is made of 3mm or 6mm thick ceramic and can be ordered in any height. It is made of the same material as the worktop.
